With 28 weeks gone by, Steve & Kay are expecting their first child very soon. How exciting! I shot their maternity session yesterday at the Botanical Gardens in Palos Verdes. It was a crazy 98 degrees outside and they were such troopers all day long. Kay absolutely loved the gardens and it was actually a place they were checking out when they were deciding where to get married 5 years ago.
We headed back to their home after to checkout the nursery. They told us it's a girl! But only gave us hints on her name. For now, it's R. That's all we got and that's all you'll get till she's born. Checkout some of my favorites from yesterday.
Kay is such a pretty mommy to be.

I love this moment here.

It just happened that the flowers matched her dress.

I'm sure they will have a beautiful little girl.

Thank goodness the gardens had tons of shade there.

I haven't flared in a while.

Team work is the moral of this story.

Can you believe they are going to fit all 3 of them in that house?

The nursery and Kay said it's only 90% done.

I think little R. will be styling!

Chalk board doors are a nice touch. They left a little message for little R.

I can't wait to meet little R. too!

Great job Brian! It's funny, my daughter loves that Pigeon book!
Hey, i remember Kay and Steve from your bday at Caspian's (when I wasn't checking out those belly dancers, ahaha.) Kay looks like she's ready to bust that kid outta there! Good to see that they're doing well. Nice job on capturing that 'glow' that expectant moms have.
