Blake & Bich : Wedding

This past Saturday I shot the wedding for the totally awesome couple, Blake and Bich. I know every photographer thinks their couples are totally awesome, but mine are better. I'm kidding, but truly I have the best clients! The morning actually kicked off with a traditional vietnamese ceremony followed by saying "I do" at St. Callistus Church. We then headed over to The Hyatt Regency for their beautiful reception. The ballroom was transfered into the amazing room you'll see below by Three Petals, who also provided the florals for the day. The food was catered by Furiwa Restaurant and seriously, who can complain with a traditional 8 course meal? I know I didn't. And apparently, Kelly from Furiwa Restaurant, also helped coordinate the night. It's always great to have someone help run the show. Slim from Empire Recordings was the DJ for the night. I must say, he was rockin' it. He played a lot of great music that I liked. Not only was there a super DJ, but they also had live music which is always a nice treat.

Overall it was a super fun day, thanks again guys for letting me be a part of your awesomeness!! On to my favorites from the day and a special thanks to Mieng Saetia who came out to shoot with me.

In the tradition, the groom brings the flowers to the bride. Checkout the old wedding photo of Bich's parents. Another reason why I love doing what I do.

Some details of her traditional dress.

Checkout Bich in all of her awesomeness!

Bich had a special robe she wore to get ready. It's always a nice touch!

I told her to leave her hair like this for the wedding, but she wasn't going for it.

The challenge was for Bich to put her own shoes on, in that dress and she did it.

The bling.

Here is a shot we did a month back during their engagement session.

I love the outside of The Hyatt.

Live music, a great DJ, what more do you need?
